My name is John Baggs, I am Managing Director and founder of the company.

 

I am a graduate in Electrical Engineering of Kings College, University of Durham.

 

I am an Associate (Member) of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

 

I have worked as the works manager of an engineering company; I have lectured at Openshaw, Bolton and Oldham Technical Colleges; I was in partnership with my wife as a retail Newsagent for twenty years, with six shops.

 

For twelve years I worked with the Ministry of Defence as an Accountant, latterly as the Head of Finance at the Army’s biggest repair workshop, with a turnover of £80 million.

 

When I left the Civil Service, I decided to set myself up as an accountant in practice, offering services to the smaller entrepreneur, making use of my wide range of practical experience.

 

Our clients number well into double figures, and are located geographically from Oldham to Glossop to Rochdale, Halifax and Huddersfield. Their trades range from Garage to Public House to Farmer to Light Engineering and more.
